A caltrop (also known as caltrap, galtrap, cheval trap, galthrap and crow
foot) is an anti-personal weapon made up of two or more sharp nails or
spines arranged in such a manner that one of them always points upwards
from a stable base. They may be thought of as land mines of the past, useful
to drive an enemy into certain paths. They were used to slow down the
advance of horses, war elephants and foot troops.

The New Reaction Injection Moulding Machine (RIM) is part of a major investment programme by Westley Plastics, the engineering plastics company behind Runflat International.
> New Range of Alloy Wheels
The Alloy rims are machined from a single piece of T6061 Rotary Forged Alloy, heat-treated to T6 hardness. This construction allows for a wheel that is lighter and has higher load carrying capacity than similar sized steel wheels.
The Heavy Duty Bead Locking Steel Ring clamps the tyre bead to the wheel. Locking the tyre to the wheel in this manner and using a Runflat TSI system prevents the tyre from spinning on the wheel, allowing the vehicle to keep moving. Retaining the bead seat in this way lessons the chance of losing a bead when running the tyre at low air pressures to gain flotation and traction on soft surfaces such as sand, it can also be used with CTI systems.
